Hi, I’m Nico
I’m a Ph.D. student at the Personal Robotics Lab at Imperial College London under the supervision of Prof. Yiannis Demiris. My work focuses on acquiring, calibrating, and repairing trust in robotics applications.
Prior to my Ph.D., I worked at AbCellera Biologics Inc in Vancouver, Canada, as a Robotics Engineer. There I worked on the development of an automated robotic platform to facilitate the analysis and isolation of single cells.
I am interested in a variety of topics, including robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, embedded systems, as well as family, friends, photography, running, personal development, entrepreneurship, and coffee.
